Local residents will no doubt be wary
of this in view of the fact the factory was originally set up
as a salad works and then progressed on to the production of
ready made cooked foods with resultant extremely strong smells
of onion, garlic wine etc . In fact the problem is still on
going as the Company has yet to complete the installation of
new ovens in a further effort to eliminate the smells. (See
previous articles on the problem.)
The danger is that permission could be granted for this new
process only for it to change at a later date!
This matter will of course be discussed by our Parish Council
