Planning Application 77 Hinckley Road LFE
Permanent Gypsy Caravan Site (Amendment) Submitted by: Jim
on Dec 21, 2005
Residents have asked for clarification relating to the amendment
in this application for change of use by Mr Maloney. The original
application sites residential caravans on the East side of the
rear garden alongside the M1 perimeter fence. To view this planning
application click here.
The amendment changes the application, re-siting the two residential
caravans adjacent to the fence line of neighbouring property
at No 79. The reason given for the re-positioning is based on
the results of the air pollution level reading and noise level
readings which have recently been taken. The air quality pollution
levels were higher than the excepted level. The re-siting of
the residential caravans from one fence line to the other is
an attempt to distance the occupants of the residential caravans
from these pollutants. For a revised plan showing the new location

Residents that objected to the original change of use application
at No77, should have received a letter from Blaby District
Council advising of the amendment to the original application.
The final date for any further written observations to this
amendment is 4th January 2006. We understand that unofficially
letters / emails will be accepted until mid - January 2006.
To view the valid grounds for objection to this application
discussed at the LFE Parish Council Planning, Trees &
Highways Committee Meeting 5th April 2005.
