News - Residents Action Group

Residents Action Group - Submitted 19 Sept 09 Source B.D.C. Website

Say "No" to Lubbesthorpe Town

>> Join the L.F.E. Stop the S.U.E. Residents Action Group <<

The proposed new town at Lubbesthorpe is estimated to be the size of Rome. Approximately 4,500 properties, 12,000 inhabitants and upwards of 10,000 vehicles.

A group of residents have joined forces to form an action group. They meet once a week at the L.F.E. Parish Hall @ 7.30pm to 9.00pm to ensure the people of L.F.E. are fully aware of how a town of this size could affect them and to organise a formal objection.

Members of the group have met Stephen Dorrell, M.P. to discuss their concerns. Stephen Dorrell confirmed that he would support their campaign in Parliament.

To fight a development of this size L.F.E. Stop The S.U.E. Residents Action Group need your help. If you have a skill that could be utilised and you would like to give your support to the group or wish to find out more then you can contact the group via email stop.sue@live.co.uk or telephone 0786 193 999 or 0116 238 8210
