The proposed new town at Lubbesthorpe
is estimated to be the size of Rome. Approximately 4,500 properties,
12,000 inhabitants and upwards of 10,000 vehicles.
A group of residents
have joined forces to form an action group. They meet once a
week at the L.F.E. Parish Hall @ 7.30pm to 9.00pm to ensure
the people of L.F.E. are fully aware of how a town of this size
could affect them and to organise a formal objection.
Members of the group have met Stephen
Dorrell, M.P. to discuss their concerns. Stephen Dorrell confirmed
that he would support their campaign in Parliament.
To fight a development of this size L.F.E.
