Then perhaps you should get involved with Leicester Forest
East Neighbourhood Watch
Leicester Forest East Parish Council will soon
be launching a Neighbourhood Watch scheme, and if you want to
help shape how the scheme will be run, now is the time to get
involved. We are looking for all types of people all over L.F.E.
to join in and tell us what they want from their Neighbourhood
Watch and what issues are important to L.F.E. residents.
Even if you’re not the sort of person
who usually gets involved with community groups, or you don’t
have much free time, we want to hear from you. With so many
ways to get in touch, you’ve got no excuse not to!
Being involved could be as simple as keeping
an eye out for your neighbours and attending a short meeting
every two months. Obviously depending on how much you can spare
you could volunteer your time from 2 to 20 hours a month or
you could be involved in any or all of the following:
Deliver leaflets occasionally to your
immediate neighbours
Host a meeting for the members on your street
Cascade information received to your immediate
neighbours
Encourage your neighbours to join the scheme
Display a poster on your property
Offer financial sponsorship to the scheme
