It appears that the change of post code for area may not take place after all. Residents may recollect that the code was to be amended to the same as Kirby Muxloe, which would have had the advantage of reducing premiums for car and building and contents insurance.

Further it would have taken the district out of the high ranking for credit card fraud (see my previous article)
The Post Office raised various obstacles to the original request; they eventually agreed to the request and have now changed their minds.
Councilor David Parsons has been asked by our Parish Council to pursue the matter further.
