M1 Widening

Everyone must write Submitted by: wefx on May 29, 2006

At the meeting last Monday I spoke to a contractor who works for the Highways Agency.
I asked why the flyover link (which he said would be at the same level as the bridge they're going to demolish) could not be positioned between the services and junction 21.

If building the M69 link affected the business of the LFE services, they would have to pay hundreds of millions in compensation. In comparison a few upset residents ...

We must all write so that our views are recorded on the HA database and attached to this proposal.

This is not the only proposal for the positioning of the M69 link. It is the first one to be published and they are charged with measuring and recording our reactions. Another proposal might then be looked at.

Fill in the form on the Highways Agency leaflet and send it off.

He explained about the archaeological site at Lubbesthorpe. Construction work has to stay away from there OR if it must go through it the Highways Agency have to fund a full survey to record every detail - this takes years and lots of money.

Fill in on the the form Highways Agency leaflet and send it off.

Who can rally the troups to do this?
