No Room in Cemetery for LFE - Submitted on Jun 30, 2007
KIRBY MUXLOE PARISH COUNCIL CHAIRMAN’S REPORT, APRIL 2007

In January we reminded Leicester Forest East Parish Council that the agreement, allowing their parishioners to be buried in our cemetery would cease on December 31 2007.

This temporary arrangement had been agreed in 1986, when Leicester Forest East Parish Council was established, allowing them time to make their own alternative arrangements. After allowing several extensions to the original time scale, the Parish Council agreed that no further extension could be made. The Council also made the decision that the advance purchasing of burial and cremation plots would cease.
